Fishing Pictures

     The land of walleye sits under overcast skies with lingering flurries in the air!! Good morning from The Dutchman!! Humpty's day of birthday fishing was short lived!! When you run a resort, things always seem to pop up to keep you busy!! We did not get the early start we had hoped for! A mixing valve for one of the showers decided it needed some attention!! Long story short we had the boat in the water after lunch, and just in time for the wind to pick up and drizzle to fill the air!! The debris building on our lines was a pain as well!! None the less we still had a good time chatting with The King of the Croix himself Mr. Beckman!! He has traveled to the Mecca in search of another title, King of The Rainy!! He has a few good fish under his belt, and we intend venture forth from the dock this morning in search of some truly massive Dino's!! Dino's the size of men!! Dino's like our guest Luke Scott's Father-in-law caught!! He landed a massive 70" Dino right out in front of Royal Dutchman!! These boys knocked some nice eyes for a few days and when conditions turn against them, they pulled out the heavy equipment and went to war with some Dinos!! Luke landed a 60" beast on walleye tackle that they thought would be the highlight of the trip!!! Oh, how they were wrong, Luke's father-in-law took the cake when he landed the 70" beast!! Awesome job boys, The Dutchman stands proudly and gives you a solid salute!! 

     There have been a few massive Dinos pulled from the depths right in front of Royal Dutchman, hopefully a few more show themselves today!! Good luck to those out on the water today!!
